Modern, well written no nonsense Rock!

One of the greatest things to happen in music this past year is that the success of bands like Wolfmother and Rise Against have started to bring hard rock back into the mainstream. If you are a fan of these bands, you will love Throw The Fight. They are without a doubt, one of the best young bands I have heard in some time. Hard driving straight ahead rock with just the right amount of punk. If this EP is a sign of what is to come for this band, sign me up. I want to be one of the first to jump on their bandwagon.

Bio: Throw The Fight is an aggressively driven five-piece rock band hailing from Minneapolis, MN. By combining many styles of music from punk and metal, to classic rock, Throw The Fight is sure to please even the most jaded listener. Combining intricate and heavy riffs with solid beats and airtight vocal harmonies, Throw The Fight takes music to a higher level.

By touring and playing countless shows, TTF have managed to connect to audiences on a more personal level and build a solid fan base across the country-all the while selling over 6,000 copies of their first self-recorded e.p.

Always trying to define their identity in the "it's already been done" world of music, the members of Throw The Fight are holding their heads high and are bringing a self-proclaimed modern rock sound to various venues around the country. They were selected in the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands to play the Vans Warped Tour in 2003 and 2005. TTF were also semi-finalists in the 2004 Zippo Hot Tour. Their strong work ethic has led them to share stages with The Matches, Melee, Limbeck, Break The Silence, Bleed The Sky, Quietdrive, 3 Inches of Blood, My American Heart, Dillenger 4, Fighting Jacks, Bowling For Soup, and The F-Ups.

The group was voted as one of ten unsigned bands to keep an eye on in 2006 by Alternative Press magazine. Their E.P, 'The Fire Within', produced by World Record Productions (Quietdrive, Mudvayne, Soul Asylum, etc), is now available.

Throw The Fight brings hard-fought experience along with their unique, intense live show and a sense of musicianship that is unrivaled in the music industry. This band has nowhere to go but up. Do not miss this inspiring group when they come to a venue near you!
